My latest #GraphicDesign obsession is the Swiss passport It’s almost jarringly modern while not compromising on its security features and cultural identity I love that they anchored the design around the country’s topology & waterways, and used a color palette to perfectly accentuate that 10/10
Day 4 Today, I learned you can combine meshes inside a folder and merge the vertices to create more complex meshes. Also manually shading the sides on top of the built-in lighting toggle really improved the contrast with the lighter colored textures. I think it turned out great! #PicoCad2
Ended up creating the perfect judgmental face last night while 3D modeling
Day 2 of learning 3D modeling w/ #PicoCad2 Yesterday, vertices/faces weren’t lining up, and it looked like I carved it out of stone with a jackhammer. Now it's closer to a pseudo-Dreamcast asset Tonight, I’ll be working on smoother edges, character creation & trying to animate individual meshes!
First time 3D modeling went well I think! Immediately feeling the limitations of #PicoCad2 which I think is actually a good thing. I’m recognizing what I need to achieve the vision in my head in a practical sense, and what to look for when I make the transition to using Blender
