I just spent an entire weekend celebrating a friend’s birthday (including coordinating her friends to visit from out of town as a surprise) and it was such a fun and rewarding experience! My friends are the best and deserve to be treated like royalty on their special day 🥳🎉
My college roommate used to listen to Enya every time she did yoga in our dorm. Even though it’s been years, the association is so Pavlovian that I can barely hear the first few notes of Caribbean Blue before breaking out in a sun salutation 😅

I’m so grateful that I got to take some time for rest and recovery. It’s nice to feel a bit more restored and energized now that I’m back in DC! I’ve been catching up on communications and have space for a few more dates this month, so don’t be shy about reaching out… 😘
As some of you know, I recently and unexpectedly lost one of my beloved cats. In a very short period of time, he went from being happy and healthy to terminally ill. It was quite shocking and extremely heartbreaking. I miss him terribly every day.

It was such a wonderful delight to see Eddie Izzard perform in The Tragedy of Hamlet! We may not get to enjoy the Kennedy Center anymore, but we are beyond blessed to have many other incredible theaters in DC.
One of the coolest hikes I’ve ever been on, hiking through a slot canyon in Capitol Reef National Park. Big gratitude to the friend & admirer who took me on this (and many other) adventures! Even though we’re no longer in touch, I continue to cherish the memories.

Took the metro at rush hour for the first time in years (only two stops!) and of course I immediately lost one of my cashmere-lined leather Coach gloves that I’ve had for a decade 🤦🏻♀️ I’m just not that kind of morning person 😩🫠
