"JK Rowling is already a billionaire and everyone already knows about Harry Potter, what's the point of boycotting?" Nobody thinks boycotting will bankrupt her. We know she's gonna die rich. We're just asking you to show a shred of solidarity with trans folk. Absolute low bar bare minimum shit.

Day 3 Otakuthon complete! Thank you staff for a great year! I picked up Ichi the Witch manga and some stickers today, but otherwise was a nice chill day until close! I'm so inspired again!
Day 2 Otakuthon complete! I am so inspired this year I'm thinking of returning to artist alley next year if I can get into some cons! Not 100% yet, but if I can make enough new art I'll start applying for tables again!
My #otakuthon haul! I’ll be at 1301 helping my artist friend @jennchube.bsky.social come say hi! Her stuff is selling fast so get it before it’s gone :p Here’s a doodle of our OC’s tending to the booth on Day 1! Good luck everyone on day 2!!!

reminder that history has always been multiple events happening concurrently, but humans having the ability to see these events unfold in practically live-time is VERY new because of the internet. we were not built to handle this level of constant stress. 🧶(+)
