Lead Director of VRChat short film “S.Y.N.C.”/Open To Chat/Lover of VRC Films / (He/Him) / Heart of ambition that’s WAY bigger than my playspace / Martial Arts!

In preparation to our next #VRChat film, we took it up a notch by giving our actors an in-universe test to evaluate their skills like a shoothouse. This was fun to do and I can’t wait to actually see where the real film will go.

It always makes me happy when it’s a packed instance of people fighting in our Choreo meets on Sunday. Last night was especially busy. Even if the progress was slow, knowing that everyone has a burning aspiration to keep fighting is really heart warming to see.

Been playing Project Zomboid recently after getting recommended it. Been having a lot of fun with it. Although, it definitely is scary not knowing what’s behind be without looking first. Definitely keeps my head on a swivel.

The more I see content emerge from VRChat, the less I believe that dancing is a minority in the community. It is very prevalent. Not that I inherently have any issue with it. I’m glad people take the opportunity to exercise and express themselves in VR. I just wish people experimented more.

“The trials await your return” SYNC Studios collaborates with our community Dojo to bring “The Photon Trials 2” as our next #VRChat film! Check out the link below for the full version! ❤️+🔁 Appreciated!

You can knock me down, push me over and sweep my feet out from under me as many times as you’d like. But strength is resilience, and I will indefinitely refuse to stay down. Tomorrow, I rise, stronger.

And last but not least… Some pictures of the many wonderful people within SYNC Studios! A huge “thank you” is deserved, both to @legend50210.bsky.social for creating it, and to the many talented people who make up our group. I doubt I’d be on VRChat still without you all in my life! 💙

Planning on making somewhat regular posts with sound edits of our fight choreography. Having over 600+ references to pool from definitely makes it easy to not worry about being short anything.

Never strive to be perfect. Making something “perfect” means that you are unable to improve to the threshold you are at, unable to experience new things to hone the craft further. Strive to be better. The ceiling is as infinite as you can make it. It only stops once you do. Always keep fighting.

The more we fight to inspire, the more I am reminded of the hope we give people on this platform. A lot of creative minds are held back because of latency and forfeit their talents because of the “insurmountable hurdle”. Even with our research, I still do wish that latency were better addressable.

Slow writing. However, developing new processes to get something right takes time. I’d much rather a project have more beauty to its corners and take longer to make than to rush into them with little for it to stand on. Things like that are probably why I’m not a variety creator.

Playing through Ready Or Not to learn a lot more about tactical movement and breaching doors as study. Lots of fun and very entertaining research. Also, Valley of the Dolls. Very messed up mission, but the atmospheric tension in the music is sooooo good.

You know what unspoken boundary I haven’t seen filmmakers in VRChat attempt to fight? How to make walking on stairs look accurate. There’s always the obvious “Latency” and “Technical limitations for screenplay but what about stairs?
