The Legume Hub is Europe's knowledge platform for legumes - a web-based knowledge platform about the production of legumes and their use as food and feed products in Europe.

🌱Europe imports 40-46M tonnes of soybean every year to meet food & feed demand. In #LegumeGeneration, researchers are developing soybean varieties better adapted to drought & heat in southern Europe & cooler climates in the north, helping build a more resilient protein supply.

📢#LegumeGeneration is going to Valencia🇪🇸 in October! 🌱#Euroseeds2026 Congress offers 3⃣ days filled with top-level insights on current and upcoming key issues for the European and international seed sector, as well as vibrant exhibition and trade. 🔜Stay tuned! @EuroseedsEU

🫛 How do you develop pea varieties that perform across Europe? In #LegumeGeneration, breeders & researchers test the same pea material across different climates, soils & growing conditions to identify resilient, stable varieties for farmers.🌍🧑‍🌾 🎥https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JHoG5fO0co

🌍How do lentils perform across Europe's diverse climates? 🌱At the Open Field Day in 🇩🇪, the wider lentil community discussed lentil cultivation, climate adaptation & farming systems. Field visits showcased ongoing trials under organic and intercropping conditions.
