I love that I'm seeing so many cool indie games popping up recently. Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo looks really good and I've already wishlisted Break the Night. It's nice to know it's not all doom and gloom and live services in the games industry.

Having an in-engine build of the game to start playtesting is so exciting. I can't believe this scrappy team of friends made it this far all because we drew some pictures and made some characters. I know it's not the most exciting news for everyone else but this is huge and means everything to me.

Hey so if a trans person relates to a character and sees their own experiences in that character and chooses to headcanon that character as trans - be that transfem, masc, MTF, FTM, non-binary, agender etc. maybe don't...act grossed out and tell them why they're wrong/problematic to do so.

I know I'm going to need to do all the characters eventually, but it is fun to sit down and figure out which key characters will need sprites before they're introduced as playable. Either way these 6 are on my list next!

I'm not adopting it. I'm never going to use it. I don't care if I will get "left behind" or whatever bullshit they espouse to fearmonger me into using it. It does nothing for me. I don't care about instant gratification. I do what I do because I love it and I won't let anyone take that away from me.

I was posting very angrily about how I’m violently anti-Al at this point, and that wasn’t for no reason. I’m viscerally disgusted with H*nk Green, and Sh!ft Up and their abysmal Al music video for the new SteIlar BIade…I hate giving up N!Ike but I care too much about the state of art to support them

I'm sorry I haven't posted a lot -at all- let alone posting any art...but I've been making quite a lot behind the scenes and while they're all boring in isolation, it's all going to culminate in...like...an actual game now haha. Just wanted to let y'all know I am alive and still creating things 🩵

Went into a fugue state and decided I was going to try to add more animations to the game and started outlining the animations for attacks/abilities and ended up starting Carmen's super animation.

I got a look at everything placed in-engine today and I about cried. It's one thing to make mock-ups and do placement tests but to see it all and actually get to look at the game's code is something else 🩵

I maaaaay have slightly miscalculated the amount of pickling cucumbers I bought…Now I have half a gallon of sweet-heat pickles XD #+1ToCooking

Spent this whole weekend doing a whole bunch of home cooking. Saturday was pickled red onions and some sweet-heat pickles. Sunday was almost a gallon of marinara sauce that took over 6 hours of simmer time alone. The house smells SO GOOD rn.
