Moderating on discord has come to a point where considering to ban people for saying hi is a valid consideration, because one hasn't seen it end in anything but commission scams for so long. It's tiring.

So I wondered a thing. How high would Scrooge McDucks money bin need to be if he had a trillion dollar in dollar coins and the bin had a base of 300meter squared (~1k feet squared). I arrived at the number of roughly 7800 meter or 26 thousand feet. Feels wrong...

I just realized something: Sometimes you see those prank youtubers and one asks themselves how someone could come to such harmful and disruptive ideas and think it is okay. And than it hit me. These are people that grew up with hidden camera prank shows. Same idea but 20ish years earlier.
You know. Every time I see XBox users scream for a port of games to their console I wonder if it was worth it even if the economics looked better. GoG you at least can wear like a badge of anti DRM honor and XBox plays in that ball park (not the PS) of that without the badge.
Stealing this cause why not. I like talking about games.

Windows deinstalled my gpu driver for the 5th time THIS YEAR. Microsoft is really pushing hard that one should switch to Linux.
Never have I seen as spiteful fans as windows fans when something uses not windows. Also known as: Listening to someone asspulling stats they make up because they still believe Linux is stuck in the 90s makes me wanna strangle people.

Every time it gets shown what AI can do I get less concerned that AI is gonna replace us all and take over the planet. AI feels like The Emperor's New Clothes fairytale but with tech.

So I just learned Andrew Dice from Carpe Fulgur passed away and due to that Carpe Fulgur will cease operations. That one hurts hard deep down. Recettear was an important point in my journey to fall in love with indies. So seeing that transpire just feels rough.
Small note I wanted to make about Gamescom and submitting stuff for the press for all #indiegames : Gamescom is stressy and one gets a lot of applications for games. So if you want to contact press do so early. Even if there is information still outstanding it doesn't hurt to reach out early. (1/2)

What a downer...no matter how I look at it this looks like something AI would put out. One hopes that it is just an unfortune case of messy art asset that shouldn't be readable but I'm not holding my breath.

I gotta ask: How do you younger wippersnappers fight the urge to not take your smartphone and snap it in half everytime one wrong swipe does something unintended that takes like 5-10 minutes to undo because the UI on smartphones sucks harder than a baby on it's mothers milk dispenser.
