I am so sick of French journalists calling Europe “the old continent”. The “New World” was only new to Europeans. The phrase was wrong then, colonial, and still wrong now. Today it feeds the lie that Europe can only decline, when it is actually unifying into a world power.

Nationalists want Europeans weak and dominated. Federalists want Europeans powerful and free. True patriots are federalists 🇪🇺
