Cormorant vs Eel. This tussle went on for a good 10 minutes, with the eel putting up a tremendous fight to try to escape and then strangle the cormorant, who overpowered it in the end. Nature can be a cruel mistress indeed.

I was out canoeing on the Thames yesterday and came across a very rare sight of two black swans having successfully bred in the wild on the river. This was apparently their second attempt this year and I'm happy to report that this clutch of four young cygnets appear to be healthy and thriving. 🥰
We've been enjoying some beautiful, misty sunrises across The Royal Parks this week. ❤️ @theroyalparks.bsky.social
This will probably be the last 'skeleton shot' I'll get of my favourite tree in Bushy Park this season, as it will soon be in full leaf again. @theroyalparks.bsky.social
These two really weren't seeing eye to eye this morning! 😬🫣👋

What a glorious day we had at the Orchid Festival, Kew Gardens yesterday. 🌸
Having a lovely weekend photography-wise! First my exhibition in the beautiful Landmark Arts Centre and now another photograph of mine was just featured in 'A Walk on the Wildside' on Alan Titchmarsh's Love Your Weekend! 📸🙏
I'm so excited to have made the final selection of photographs for my first ever Exhibition, Creative Captures. This is them, hot off the press, laid out on my kitchen table! Come and say 'Hi' to me and the other talented people I'll be showing with. 😁📸
Happy Valentine's Day to all the lovebirds out there! ❤️ 🦢 📸 Lesley Marshall
Probably my all time favourite shot of my all time favourite stag. @theroyalparks.bsky.social #wildlifephotography 🦊

I was super excited to hear a pair of tawny owls calling each other very close to my garden just now. Volume up! 🦉🦉
Good evening, gorgeous people of Blue sky, I hope you have had the best day possible.😘 The fleeting connection between these two didn't last long, but fortunately I was there to witness it's loveliness. 💕
Happy Burns Night to all my Scottish brethren. 🏴 "Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face, Great chieftain o' the puddin-race!" #burnsnight2026
Sometimes I take shots of LBBs (little brown birds) just because I think they are extraordinarily beautiful. #birdphotography 🪶
This is one of my favourite shots from a recent chilly sunrise shoot in Bushy Park. This alpha stag is still keeping a very close eye on his group of hinds though many of his cohort have abandoned theirs now they have been covered. @theroyalparks.bsky.social #wildlifephotography #naturephotogrpahy
I swear since the moment I took this photograph in Bushy Park last week, the sun has gone off in a big huff. Please come back sunshine, all is forgiven. 🤗 @theroyalparks.bsky.social #landscapephotography #treescape #sunrise
Good morning fabulous people of Blue Sky.😊 I was fortunate to catch this family of red deer taking the plunge on a cold and misty morning in Bushy Park. Wishing you all the very best of days.❤️ @theroyalparks.bsky.social #BushyPark #naturephotogrpahy #wildlifephotography
This shot of a heron passing across the aptly named Heron Pond in Bushy Park is one of my favourites from a magical early morning shoot last week. I love the silhouette effect and the mystical atmosphere created by the morning mist and reflections in the water.❤️ @theroyalparks.bsky.social
I will never get bored of shooting this beautiful tree at sunrise. @theroyalparks.bsky.social #BushyPark #naturephotography #sunrise
A stag lost in his own thoughts in the mists of Bushy Park. I wonder what he was thinking? @theroyalparks.bsky.social
