The kind of person that only sees art as a finished product doesn't have a fundamental enough understanding of art to be commenting on how it's made. It isn't gatekeeping to learn how to create things and that term has been co-opted by these types of people as a short-hand for expertise and cost.

The people pushing hardest on the marketing grift that you need llm's are the dumbest and least valuable to our society. They're making bad faith arguments couched in promotion for a product they don't understand, forged in a believe that they are far more intelligent then they are.

One aspect of this that's important is that people apparently also don't actually know what research is. Just as a generalized word, their understanding and capability to research something is non-existent. I assume that partially drives from the idea that research is a single wiki article.
