Lunch - Thai green curry with chicken, snow pea pods and mushrooms. I used Maesri brand curry paste. Spicy. Not as hot as red but in my old age as hot as I go nowadays

Quick lunch on a hot day - bagel pizzas using ingredients I had on hand.
Next day pizza Brush bottom of slice with olive oil. Heat in microwave to warm up Transfer to skillet with a lid on to crisp up crust If you like cold pizza skip 1-3
Today's lunch - homemade pizza with sourdough crust and sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and sweet green peppers from the garden.
Lunch - flank steak fajitas. Flank steak was marked down for quick sale at Walmart. I sous vide steak at 133⁰F for 18 hours, chill and then slice and fry in a pan with red and orange peppers, onion and garlic. Seasoned with Better Than Bullion Adobo paste.
Lunch - homemade green curry with chicken, snow pea pods and mushrooms. Medium hot. I can't take the scorching heat anymore

Ever since I left catholicism and christianity behind 40 years ago this has been my traditional Good Friday meal - big steak cooked medium rare. This almost 2 lb ribeye was cooked sous vide at 132⁰F for 3 hours then seared with searing torch. Fries hand cut and cooked in peanut oil
Yesterday a post I was reading noted that the stock market was closed today. What?? Completely forgot that it was Good Friday. Damn, forgot to buy my traditional Good Friday meal I have had for 40 years - a thick ribeye steak. Got a nice one this morning and cost me nearly $40.

Yesterday in the 70s, thunderstorms late and this morning colder than my love life 23⁰ and blustery wind and snow flurries. Prepared a hearty breakfast to help deal with it before I go out for some firewood behind the house. Homemade roast beef hash with fried eggs and sourdough rye toast.
