A painting commission of Bristol Gardens in Maida Vale, London. Maida vale has some of London’s best architecture. It is always a treat to visit with my sketchbook and video camera.
On a rather hot afternoon I did this quick watercolour sketch of Formosa Street in Maida Vale. Also had a nice lunch at Paulette on the left and a cool drink at The Prince Alfred pub.
A short video of me painting the holy Trinity Church in Cookham, Berkshire and the last resting place of the artist Stanley Spencer. A very hot but enjoyable day.

An oil painting of the Somerset view. 15cm x 15cm. Somerset has some lovely rolling hills and small fields. Great for painting. This painting was won at one of my art talks.
Commercial Street, Spitalfields, London The painting is based on a crossing on Commercial Street in Spitalfields, and the original was exhibited at The New English Art Club’s Annual Open Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in Central London.
