Rand Paul's revenge tour on Anthony Fauci is hilarious. An ophthalmologist who hasn't practiced medicine in 18 years got schooled to shame by an infectious disease expert 6 years ago so he's out here trying to settle the score on a bullshit power trip and getting nothing but a 5th Amendment script.

Like the "problem" of "trans athletes," "voter fraud" is right-wing fan fic engineered to fuel the engine of processed outrage and disenfranchisement that keeps us in a MAGA chokehold. They know their policies fail on their merits so they grind hard to ensure as few people as possible get to say so.

Me: please don't do drugs or drink and drive 15yo:Thanks mom I was actually in the middle of buying pills off this lady with an ankle monitor in the Fred Meyers parking lot but this text stopped me 18yo: same then I was going to hop on the back of a dirt bike with some guy who just drank 12 beers

Lowkey can't believe kids are allowed to maraud the streets on electric/motorized bikes that are basically glorified motorcycles and pretend they're just regular Schwinns? It's like when gas station acid/crack was legal. Seems like a regulatory loophole that will result/has resulted in fatalities.

Apparently Tay doesn't own a yacht, so unless she charters one we won't be seeing her in town during Billionaire Yacht Season. Nonetheless, I am putting an intention out into the universe to manifest TT in Juneau next summer.

TIL that my dad is part of a class action for writers whose work has been illegally pirated by AI to train their language models. We are both really excited about this, because a check for $0.45 in 2040 is gonna be life changing! We continue to stick it to The Man™️ in my family!

Half your time after 40 is spent trying to get to the bottom of why you feel like ass all the time and the second half is spent trying or refusing to try various purchases and programs that will supposedly make you feel like ass a little bit less somehow

I love when people intentionally and obviously misconstrue some trivial point on here and then act like they've achieved some kind of epic own. It's like dunking on a Playskool basketball hoop at day care and thinking you're LeBron James.

18yo: "I'll see you after my helicopter camping trip." Me: "I'm sorry...your what now?" 18yo: "My friends and I got a free heli-drop into the mountains." Me: "Ok please text me when you get there." 18yo: "I mean if there's a helicopter crash you'll probably hear about it." Me:

It never ceases to amaze me that there are people walking among us for whom money is literally no object and they don't have to worry about bills ever. The older I get, the more bitter and jealous I get about this. I hate everything about how this makes me feel about myself and the world in general.
