Exposure therapy isn't just "I'm gonna make you do a thing because you should get used to it". It's like actually a gradual and carefully planned therapy. You wouldn't teach a child math by making them do algebra first--it's similar. The person has to have confidence about the step they're on.

Ugh I just remembered a few days ago I was in the middle lane stopped at a stoplight behind this car when the driver dropped an empty monster can out of the window into the street. I couldn’t believe it. I almost followed them to cuss them out.

we took the bins out of the outside storage area that had my stuff in them and i think all my childhood sketchbooks have been totally ruined by water :((( of course the bin with all my textbooks is fine.

Yesterday was my first day this week without a headache, but I just had to move the trash bins full of grass clippings because the normal trash bin was so far back behind them I couldn’t throw away household trash and now my neck hurts… hate how stupid this all is

Something that frustrates me about fgo’s writing or perhaps translation is the sweeping statements about how people/humans are or act. Yesterday a character said humans are the only sapient beings on earth (there’s others in the story) who purposefully continue an action they know is futile.

I think a wasp got in the house but I can’t look for it in the rafters because it hurts my neck to look up and I’ve already had 3 days of headaches so far this week 😰 I think my necks already hurting from the amount I did look for it today…

So Midnight Star and Pretty Tony both released songs in 1983 that include the phrase “fix it in the mix”— since the midnight star one is just one prominent line I assumed it referenced pretty tony’s song literally called fix it in the mix but I think it’s just coincidental? Anyone know?

i implore all of you, if you think you have things set up so that your loved one who isn't a legal dependent/spouse can continue after your death to access whatever financial thing you provided for them (card on your account, paying certain bills), you probably got some part wrong anyway!!!

lrp: i am very happy to hear and believe in "you gotta make weird art" these days but man... sometimes i feel not weird enough like "too weird to live, too normal to be interesting" my friends and i as kids loved the word "weird" and wore it purposefully but damn i feel like i exaggerated maybe
