Why? Why must everything we enjoy be sealed up with a "grade"? I get baseball cards being put in plastic because you can still enjoy both sides of the card. But a Blu-ray?

Given my last three interactions with service workers likely coming off as being defeated and anxious, and potentially looking like a crackhead, I need some serious chill out time.

The skunk friends came a bit earlier than normal today.

I swear, Somerville has to be one of the most hostile cities towards people from out of town trying to park there for an extended period. Most street parking is permit only and everything else is 2 hours at most. Public transit is not an option when I'm literally driving in from another state.

Is my CPU running hot for the last few weeks out of nowhere cause to believe I need to replace my thermal paste, or is it just because Windows 11 sucks ass and has gotten bloated with AI spaghetti code? It used to idle at 38C, now it's flutuating between 48 and 62 on desktop.

Thinking back on previous roommate situations, one recurring thing that really annoyed me was when someone would drop out of the house group chat for one reason or another. Great, so now when I have to make an announcement, I have to post to the group AND send you a DM, thanks for that...

Honestly kinda depressing scrolling down the personal tab in Telegram just to see how many deleted accounts there are. Where do they all go?

Playing Starfox on Switch 2 had me curious to go back and check out the actual sequels (ie games that actually took place after Lylat Wars). Starfox Adventures had no business looking this good in 2002.

On one of those sorta "make your imagination HD and high frame rate" kind of edible, highs tonight.

I think I can finally close the book on one of my three headaches from March. GI tests from Monday all came back negative, so I'm finally back in good health. Time to call my car insurance and my accountant to sort out the other two things.

I am in need of a vacation. Three day weekends aren't enough. I'm thinking I might try scheduling a week off in August.

Caught another dove trying to build a nest on my air conditioner after the last family fledged. Yanked the air conditioner before she laid any eggs. I'm gonna need to look into some sort of dove nest box to put on top of the unit so they don't make a mess.
