Almost twelve years to the day since I held my first novel for the first time. Thanks for everything, Metro 7. For the lessons learned, the confidence/delusion to keep going, and the knowledge that there aren't many better feelings than holding something you've created in your hands.

my debut, a queer, small press ya fantasy came out earlier this month, and I'm just so proud of it. I'm never going to make lists, but I published an entire book! Little me would be so happy. I did it for her, and for the teens who would rather fight dragons (or be a dragon!) than deal with homework
