Day 208 of Japanese study! Forgot to mention this when I did it a couple days ago, but I finally set my phone to Japanese. Hopefully this will help me immerse a bit more. Some things are hard to read but I can read more than I expected too! My kanji study is being put to use!

I would say this is very accurate to me. Once I set my mind to something I don't give up.

Day 207 of Japanese study! We've hit 200 total days of WaniKani! (I started on week 2 so I could learn the kana first) I'm doing quite well with the program so far and am about 30% of the way through it! 30,000+ reviews done and 3,000+ lessons! Will continue to work hard at it!

Day 206 of Japanese study! Reviews have been pretty difficult the past few days. Definitely staying on top of it, but sometimes it feels like my brain just blanks on things I should be familiar with by now. Such is the nature of language learning I suppose. Non-linear progress.

Day 205 of Japanese study! Learned a few different cool words today, but this one clicked in my brain because the word for doodling is pronounced "rakugaki" which made me realize that's why I see so many sketches posted with #rkgk I love when my brain makes connections!

Day 204 of Japanese study! Had to lock in pretty hard today to get my reviews done, we had another day of almost 300 queued up. I actually locked in so hard I forgot to take a screenshot, so here’s one of some Bunpro I did today. I still struggle with particles lol.

Day 203 of Japanese study! While recalling the definition of a word when seeing it is one thing, filling in the blank of a sentence is an entirely different thing. Remembering conjugations, particles, and other aspects is hard!

Day 202 of Japanese study! Onto a new wave of kanji and radicals, I'm on level 18 now of WK out of 60, so I'm still definitely on track to finish this program in under 2 years. I always feel like I should be studying more than I am, but I'm actually doing quite a lot already.

Day 201 of Japanese study! Moving on from my milestone yesterday, today I learned the kanji for a word I already knew. This is "Muri", a word I hear often in anime. There's a lot of words like that that I already know but know I get to know the kanji composition of them!

Day 200 of Japanese study!! Wow, I've certainly come a long way in this time. Since language progress isn't linear, it's hard to say what level I'm at, but I can say with WaniKani at least I've learned over 600 Kanji and I've also officially passed over 2000 vocab words! Yippee!

Day 723 of swim. Had to cut my workout in half cause my leg started hurting. I unfortunately hit a nerve when doing my estrogen injection a couple days ago which was incredible painful. Guess it’s still not calmed down yet. Might have to rest a bit more before going again.

Day 198 of Japanese study! Looked back at some of my stats, and every month since I’ve started my total reviews has increased with each month so far. In July I did ~6200, averaging 200.5 every single day. It’s a lot of reviewing! Anyways, here’s a vocab word I learned today!

Day 722 of swim. Felt ok today. They say exercise is supposed to help the mental, so I’m hoping that’s the case while I continue swimming. I certainly could use the help.

Day 197 of Japanese study. Here’s a word I learned today that I recognized but didn’t know the meaning of. It’s “にちじょう” aka “Nichijou”! So that’s what that means! And yea, the context sentence is definitely true here.
