These are a few of the latest 6x4 paintings that I’m working on. They’re fun to do and they keep me occupied. Music and art…doing what I love and I’m ever so grateful. I’m healing. 🫶🏾 #artwork #myartwork #oilpainting #oilonpaper #createart

This is back on the easel while some drying happens on other pieces. I like having multiple pieces in rotation. 😊 working on getting this sky to my liking…these small pieces are spoiling me! #oilpainting #art #artwork #originalart #oilonwoodblock

Currently on my easel…I’m loving the vibe of this piece. I may do a larger size with this aesthetic. This is actually two 6x4’s painted as one piece of art. Each piece is an able to stand alone though. #myartwork #oilpainting #art #createart #painting

The ocean piece is currently on my easel. I’m gonna give it a bit of drying time before adding more flowers. I’m somewhat bothered by the green grasses in the autumn piece so I might be changing that. I think I’ll do a piece with a warm, sunny sky next. #myart #art #artwork #oilpainting #createart

Today’s first art piece and a progress pic on an autumn-inspired piece I started yesterday. Lots more flowers to go on today’s art piece…it’s tedious but worth doing it right. 🫶🏾 #myartwork #oilpainting #landscapepainting #createsomethingbeautifultoday

I’ve been working on these two pieces today. #oilpainting #originalartwork #artwork #myartwork #art

This #6x4 #oilpainting is currently on my easel… #skypainter #art #myartwork #createart #originalart

I’m setting this piece aside to dry a bit. I’ll visit it again in a few days. I did decide to add a visual element in the upper left corner, break up that sky a bit. I kinda like it. 😃 #skypainter #oilpainting #myartwork #artwork #originalart #6x4

Today’s little creation…I’m trying to decide if it needs more. I kinda like it as it is. I’ll sleep on it! lol! #artwork #myartwork #oilonpaper #oilpapainting #realart #notai

I love painting these little 6x4 pieces. I don’t have to wait long to see the vision come together. The sky will develop over time the next few days. #handpainted #art #myart #myvision #oilpainting

This little piece has undergone quite a few changes. That’s what happens when I cha get one element…it starts a chain reaction of sorts. It’s the sky that I’m not happy with. But we’ll see how it goes! #oilpainting #originalartwork #artwork #art #handpainted

“Girl with the Gold Braid” circa 2021. She is one of my favorite early oil paintings. The original hangs in my home. I remember thinking I hadn’t done a good job with her but in retrospect, I think she quite lovely! 😊 #oilpainting #artwork #originalart #drawing #art

Hello BlueSky! This piece is currently on my easel. Trying to make that 🎷 pop…😃 It’s a fun piece painted specifically for a beautiful frame I purchased from my favorite consignment shop. #originalart #art #acrylicart #handpainted #artwork #artonbluesky

My #rlephant is finished. I’m happy with how it turned out. #acrylicpainting #60x48 #artwork #handpainted #createart

60x48…this elephant is currently on my easel. She progressing but she’s not done yet. Elephants are such magnificent creatures and this is the second large one I’ve painted. She’s going in my formal living room. #elephant #originalart #artwork #acrylicpainting #originalpainting #art

#oceanvibes I just got back from a beautiful vacation to Inlet Beach, Florida. We stayed at a gorgeous Airbnb and Inlet Beach is amazing! So, I put this piece back on the easel and gave it life! #beachlife #beachvibes #oceanlife #skypainter

Here’s an early piece that I found when I was straightening up my studio area! I’d been searching for this piece for a while. 😃 When I say I have a lot of art around my house, trust and believe I’m not lying to you! I should create an Etsy shop! I’m sure someone would buy these pieces! 😊 #art#create

Here’s a piece I did in ‘18 or ‘19. It sold quickly. It was a favorite of mine and I often think about doing another one! I got some things wrong on this but I absolutely nailed some aspects of it! 😊 #acrylicpainting #art #artwork

This pretty much sums up my feelings these days. The problem is not “ the world;” it’s the rotten people in it.

My goal is to create #art! Portrait art but with much flair…! my granddaughter is one of my most favorite muses. She takes wonderful photos also!! So I’m turning one of her selfies into a piece of #originalart. #Acrylic but I might detail her face in #oilpaint. #art #artwork #createart

Started work on this piece… we shall see how it goes. This is just the beginning so trust the process, as they say! ☺️ I paint to keep myself tethered. There is so much craziness in the world right now! #artwork #originalartwork #art #mixedmediaart #acrylicandoil

Painted this a few years ago…seeing it with fresh eyes and realizing it wasn’t a bad piece of art. Sometimes, I can be overly critical of my own work. 🫢 #artwork #oilonpaper #art #sky #mountains

My take on a piece of AI art I saw on Pinterest…so I took a piece of art created by an algorithm and painted it in real life…like a reverse engineered painting…🫢😎 #artwork #handpainted #realpainting #notAI #mixedmedia #oilandacrylic

Currently on my easel…🫶🏾 #oilpainting #artonbluesky #art #artist #handpainted #notAI #oilonpaper

From about 3 years ago…trying my hardest to get my focus back to painting. It is what it is love to do. I’m working on a commission abstract piece now but when I finish that, I’m going to do an oil landscape painting. #oilonpaper #oilpainting #artwork #artonbluesky

I’d love to be on a beach somewhere…☺️ #oilpainting #myartwork #beach #beachplease #seaside #skypainter

Here’s a throwback of a piece that has been finished since this photo. Sometimes, the unfinished stages of a painting are pretty cool. #art #oilonpaper #artwork #artonbluesky

I did this drawing to prove to myself that I could actually draw a realistic tree! 😃 Much like hands, I tend to make trees way more difficult than necessary. This one wasn’t bad though. #trees #drawingtrees #sketches #archespaper #artwork

From my “Red Umbrella” series…an abstract version that I still consider a favorite. 🤩 I’ve been trying to get some spring yard work done so I can get back to my artwork! #originalart #redumbrella #acrylicpainting #art #myart

Scary yet funny but mortifying because I believe it’s an accurate depiction of where we are!
