Running the Endurance Life Dorset Coast marathon this weekend can be summed up by this sign found on the coastal path - too windy to stand, so muddy you fell over again if you could, and a storm surge that meant a choice of detouring up the cliff or running through the sea. End of term #Type2Fun 🏃‍♀️

I don’t know if this is a subliminal statement about the state of the academic jobs market, or just some epic recycling, but I have found a good use for my #PhD! (Fear not, it was just a draft copy)
