This is Comet Leonard during its approach to the Sun, imaged by Gerald Rhemann on Christmas Day 2021. The comet had been discovered earlier that year, and broke apart in 2022. This photo won the overall prize for Rhemann of the Royal Observatory Greenwich's Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2022.

What's hilarious about the rural discourse is that actual robust research shows that when we invest in rural communities, they attract more people, become better educated, and become less conservative.

I appreciate them specifically calling out that climate change directly led to this decision. Distance runners need to be loud about how climate change hazards (heat, wildfire smoke, storm patterns) are affecting our sport.

If you read just a few comments on any article about Graham Platner it should become crystal clear why victims don’t come forward earlier. The level of cruelty people direct at victims is gutting

But today I only have to do laundry and watch sports, so I should be able to get a lot done. Finishing up the front armhole increases, then I can start on the back. I’m going to add some short rows, I think.
I didn’t have an opinion about the T&T wedding, but I just learned that the extremely MAGA older sister of a guy I went to high school with was there and now I have THOUGHTS
