Thought this might be a fun Q: What's one thing you always do during your art process? I always start with the head, and then when it's time to paint/carve I always start with the eyes. I think it's because the piece comes to life for me when it "opens it's eyes" & it's no longer devoid of a soul.

Seen an increase of jumping spiders in the back patio area and I'm not happy about it, but I'll take them over the brown widows that have tried claiming the area over the years. There's a decrease in flies and mosquitos too so the jumping spiders are pulling their weight WAY MORE than the widows.

Me: "I'm just going to cut up this kringle into smaller pieces and stick some them in the freezer so I can have more in the future, and I won't have to eat the whole thing all at once." 48 hours later—

Maury Lie Detector meme. Maury Lie Detector meme features Maury Povich of the drama talk show, Maury, where he conducted lie detector tests for people trying to find out if their SO was cheating on them. In this image, it's Maury sitting in his chair reading off of his "Maury" show notes card with text on the image that reads: "The lie detector determined that that was a lie." which is the line he says when the lie detector concludes that the person was lying.

You ever think about how the planets and stars are all ball-shaped? I would say moons too but some are more potato-shaped than ball-shaped. But it's interesting how our universe's physics just kind of turns everything into a ball and not like a pyramid or a cube.

Being human has it’s ups and downs and isn’t without it’s challenges, but there is something so wondrous about the human experience, consciousness, and what it means to be human. Makes me sad when I think about when it's my time to go, because I've really enjoyed the magic of being human.

Blows my mind that there is a 3,000 year old tree—a tree older than the Roman Empire—right in my backyard at Yosemite National Park. It's lived here this whole time even though the land itself has gone through different identities. But it doesn't care, because to it this land is simply "home".

A large ceramic bird done with black underglaze, and has a rainbow of underglaze colours for it’s feathers.
There is a gold luster sun disk on it’s head, and a handmade red tassel with a fortune coin tied to it.a screen shot of my $350 donation to Trans-E-Motion for transparency (pun not intended LOL)
