Wonderful news. This was such an amazing place to see a film. I will definitely make a point to be in LA when it opens and find some suitably epic film to see on that monster screen.

OK, so here is the Ferrari 296 GTB. As I mentioned, this model is just too beautiful to modify significantly, so I just made an earnest lil’ Grot driver. I couldn’t decide what to add to the rear & I don’t know what an experimental nuclear engine looks like, but this 3D print bit fit perfectly!
I mean, what should I expect from someone who writes for “The Economist” taking about The Odyssey. This is written like it’s a bad thing? 😄😄
Some recency bias here, but [straps on helmet]: Project Hail Mary. OMG what a mess. I couldn’t leave as I was there with my wife, but thankfully I had a book to read on my phone (in dark mode, of course)

OK so continuing what is becoming Summer of the Grots, I finished up the driver for the Ferrari 296 GTB and this dude who will be desperately trying to escape some 40k doom….
OK so I picked up this Ferrari 296 GTB when I was in Italy this spring. The car is simply too beautiful to alter very much for Gaslands (it has spring suspension!)….but I’m making a fun Grot driver for it.

OK, so while I was goofing off in the tropics, my clever wife decided that we should attend this Ren Faire on June 13th. It was Viking theme weekend, so that gave me 7 days to kit the three of us out as Vikings. I hammered out a bunch of stuff and had fun doing so. More ornaments for the game hall!
