I’m starting to separate “corporate art” & “indie art” into 2 gigantic opposing categories. The first category is a bland vampire preying on the second category. Corporate art is entirely compromised. More now than ever. It seems barely real. Ephemeral slop. I want real stuff, idiosyncratic & weird

I like battery, spoons, energy, but the metaphor that's worked for me is spell slots "I'm out of spell slots until I long rest" feels more natural in my head, especially knowing one task can require a short or long rest before I'm able to use any more slots & that's fine, that's how the dice rolls
