There are 224 books on the University of Austin reading list and "democracy" doesn't appear once on the list. At the very least I would have expected American History to include Democracy in America on the list but perhaps they think democracy is unnecessary.

A simple breakfast of café con leche and mashed avocado on a slice of sourdough loaf. Back in the 2010s, when avocado toast was "discovered" in the USA, people in South America had been eating this for decades. Avocado was quite affordable in the 1970s-1990s. #food #avocado #cooking

There is a mug with coffee and milk, in a light brown color; a mid-size white plate with a slice of bread, with avocado spread on it; and a small bowl with the remaining avocado. The plates are placed on a blue placemat, on top of a red tablecloth.

Given myself a little treat by ordering two more pairs of glasses. Both with Transitions Gen S lenses one pair in sapphire the other emerald. 😎
