Listening to the new Lusine album this morning. It's exceedingly chill, really enjoying it. It feels different (compared to his other releases) but need to spend more time with it to figure out what that difference is. #Lusine

I have been listening back a bit to some very early Logic Probe (Seattle electronic act) -- while certainly of a time and contained in the (old, deprecated?) genre of "IDM", they still seem like they were on to something. #LogicProbe
FSOL's ISDN (1994) was always so good even though it sounds fairly simple. Definitely the #FSOL album I gravitated to the most. It probably (definitely) helped that I got to hear one of the #ISDN performances (that led to the album) live in a Santa Monica coffee shop. #FutureSoundOfLondon
relentless and repetitive more of a mood than songs for fans of heavy techno and industrial or those who are intrigued by the idea of an mri in the middle of a construction site #Kotra #IShallSingUntilMyLandIsFree #Postir

The Señor Coconut mix of Nurse With Wound's "(I don't want to have) Easy Listening Nightmares" is really nice. It manages to capture the spirit of both projects in a really slick way. I am impressed. #NurseWithWound #SenorCoconut #AtomHeart #AliceTheGoon
Penal Colony. There was a time when we used to chase this band around. I am sure we drove them mad. They seemed so unique and intense. I think in some ways they were. But I feel like everything I liked about them got swallowed by production by the time the music was released. #PenalColony
over the years, many times, I have thought to myself a track sounds nice, only to learn it is The Field or mixed by The Field. That sometimes-seemingly boring repetitiveness creeps in, in the best of ways. #TheField
Music (?!) I am not sure what the audience for this would be, but I have a current fascination with Xinlisupreme and Lua Trilogy! Definitely on the noisy/overstimulation/saturation side of things. #xinlisupreme #luaTrilogy @luatrilogy.bsky.social
Arguably, one of my favorite slices of music was the mid-to-late 90s output of the label Plug Research. So many ideas bumping around in that music. #plugResearch

Saw SPRINTS last night for the final show of their US tour. I think going in I wanted a heavier, maybe more introspective and angsty show. but... #sprints
This strange 1981+ album may be my favorite holiday album. It has 8 editions, all with variations, with the later version being from 2017. I noticed a version on Bandcamp as well (which seems to have an extra song or two?)

This is a pretty wild ride. "A striking collision of East Africa’s trance-inducing polyrhythmic traditions and modernist dub practice... where Uganda’s Nakibembe Embaire Group shared the stage with Japanese live dub sorcerer Naoyuki Uchida" #NyegeNyegeTapes #NakibemebeEmbaireGroup #NaoyukiUchida

Digging the music of NKISI today. New to me, though what I have been listening to is a 1+ years old. Also, I feel like I need to publicly admit I enjoyed a Viagra Boys song. I am not proud of this.
I am a day late, but yesterday was the passing of one of my favorite vocalists/musicians/artists: John Balance. He died on November 13, 2004. This song #RestlessDay is a personal favorite, it's simple and I think a little charming. #johnBalance #jhonBalance #coil
