In All About Eve (1950), Bette Davis’s iconic line "Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night!" was completely unscripted! The line became legendary, and Davis’s sharp wit and unfiltered energy made her one of the best actresses of her time.

Happy Birthday, Mary Shelley, born on this day in 1797. Shelley was the daughter of renowned feminist writer, Mary Wollstonecraft, who died 11 days after her little Mary was born.

Honouring the late Tim Curry in one of my favourite roles of his, as Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers, 1993.

Farewell to the wonderful Tim Curry, who has died aged 80. From The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Clue to It, The Three Muskateers and countless stage roles, he was funny, fearless, wonderfully eccentric and completely unforgettable. There really was nobody else quite like him.

Green fields stretch wide, ducks glide on by, Cottages nest 'neath the open sky. The breeze, it flits through the trees, As time slows down with every breeze. England's heart beats soft and slow, Where simple joys, are what we long to know.

So sad to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton, a truly remarkable woman whose music brought joy to millions. From ‘Jolene’ and ‘9 to 5', her talent was unforgettable. And we cannot forget the her Imagination Library, which helped countless children discover the joy of reading.
