Over a three week span I'll have spent about $1,300 on medical bills. Then there's another ~$250 for a follow up appointment for the MRI to go over whatever it shows. It's amazing we haven't burned it all to the ground yet.

On social media, a broad consensus is that you can’t admit to struggle — at least not while you’re struggling. Doing so represents a failure so profound it’s almost existential. How did it become mandatory to demonstrate perpetual growth and progress online?

A week ago I text friends to make sure they hadn't been shot. Today I'm texting different friends to make sure they're homes haven't burnt down. Anyone who tells you their okay is lying or completely disconnected from themselves.

The dog distribution system has apparently designated me a Finder–this is the third this year. She came running up to Aaron during our dog's walk. 20 lbs, no chip, trained, and very friendly. If you're in north Seattle, Shoreline, and south Lynnwood areas could you share?
