whoops I’m feeling slightly smug because my disabled ass has never stopped wearing N95s in public and (un)fortunately that means I am well-prepared for these conditions.
have to be okay feeling the despair today. when the indoor and outdoor air is unsafe, when gas is well over $4 per gallon, when it feels like the “best” Michigan summers are in the past. and throw in a multi-day pain flare for good measure.
On the same day an air sensor reached an AQI of 1000 in northern Michigan, Whitmer's EGLE issued permits to continue to prop up oil infrastructure. We are sacrificing clean water and clean air for the almighty fossil fuel $$$.
