🌟Call for sports fans🌟 I am looking to interview queer fans of men's sports about how their identity affects/engages with their relationship to sport! This is for a book project on queerness in high-level sports. If this sounds like you, hit my line (DM's or replies) and I'll get in touch!

Does a consulting firm like Hunden Partners get any serious clients looking for real answers? Here is one of its analysts stating something that is unambiguously false. Why is this firm not receiving more media scrutiny? It's not impolite to call out a hack, it's necessary.

Of course: *This one will be different!* The 1990s called, it wants its phony pretext justification to build a public stadium back. These guys aren't even trying.

Hunden Partners representative Mike Thiessen told city officials last Tuesday that Kansas City’s situation is unique because the stadium is moving from a suburban area to a downtown that can better support economic activity.

“Any of the money that's generated is new, incremental revenue — it's the rib and a half, it's not the 10 ribs,” he said. “You're being asked to contribute incremental growth revenue, not baseline growth revenue, and that changes the economics.”

I love how MLB changes the rules for the postseason. 162 games trying to end games early but then when it counts more, they're like "nah, the ghost runner is as stupid as you think it is."
