finished jedi fallen order. cute game. i played on the easy "you're new to melee action games" mode that is allegedly a bit harder than the "story" mode. one of the great things about my thirties is that I have no ego about video games anymore

i've tried reading several contemporary genre fiction books lately, and I keep running into the problem of descriptions or concepts seeming like really cool ideas for an illustration or some other visual format, but not finding that they really serve a novel

LIZ@lizrpg.bsky.social · last mo.i went to the weirdest figure drawing session with my mother in law over the weekend. the model was clothed, which is fine, but just in normal(ish) clothes like cargo shorts and a ripped tank top. He was new to modeling so by his second pose he was like, "how about this?" and just started t-posing
trading these back and forth with a friend and his always turn out cute and wonderful and precious, and I draw a hideous phallic flesh monster
I braced myself for the 3.94 goodreads score of the iliad being some culture war nonsense about the emily wilson translation. But no. People are just sincerely reviewing the iliad. Silly me.
