I’m leaving social media, at least until my new book is fully drafted. I can’t keep wasting time having the same pointless arguments about AI. Godspeed, my friends.

We have our big dept meeting tomorrow, where all the managers introduce new employees and give a fun fact about us. I panicked and told my boss that the most interesting thing about me is that I have a cat named Dr. Regina Orange, Professor of Hissssstory. So I guess that’s my work identity now.

I’ve once again gotten the flu and covid shots at the same time, and I’ve once again been completely knocked out. I slept for 5 hours today. I have no appetite. I feel like a herd of wild horses ran me over repeatedly. Still better than the flu or covid! 10/10, highly recommend vaxxmaxxing.

Hi, I'm Liz, a writer and sci-fi scholar. My favorite hobby is sitting on the couch with my cat and my spouse. I’ve had that part of “How It’s Done” that goes “Body on body I’m naughty not even sorry when you pull up I pull up a little late to the party NANANANA” stuck in my head for like a year.

My name is KL, a poet and artist who lives in Watertown, MA with my spouse, our orange cat, and our housemate. Never have I ever not stopped what I was doing and pantomimed the heart when Patrick Stump sings ~llllooove in Dance, Dance.

Shoutout to the butch out here wearing combat boots, cargo pants, and a fully see-through muscle tank at 9:43am on a Wednesday. I hope you have a great day, my king. 🫡

Question for scholars who are university staff with no research expectations: do you describe yourself as an independent researcher? I feel weird about that because I do have access to a uni library, but also my work life and my research life are very separate.

Accidentally typed “manmogram” into my calendar, and I do think that’s what we should call start calling it for transmascs, enbies, and butches. Gotta get our manmos squished for good health!
