Anyone going to the Snowflake Build conference this coming Tuesday? #datasky #databs #dataengineering

This episode of Uncloaked is pretty fitting given how the series finale ended. Disappointing. Couldn’t give a monkeys about Charlotte not being Welsh or Leanne being a soldier. Main character Minah not even mentioned yet! #TheTraitors

"it appears vindictive" the lack of accountability is ASTOUNDING. Charlotte is definitely a wrong'un idc #TheTraitors #Traitors

data tags #databs #datasky #dataengineering have rapidly become an inordinate Wall of Brands, and this encroachment will not stand. the fellowship of shitposters must light the darkness, until these devils are remanded to their abyss (linkedin)

I cannot believe that a traitor is actually killing someone because they're suspicious of them. Linda is an awful traitor. Really killing Minah's game😞 #TheTraitors

If you haven't seen Yin singing her Traitors inspired love song on BBC Breakfast, boy do I have something to share with you. #Traitors #TheTraitors

we have been robbed of seeing more of Yin's wardrobe. #Traitors #TheTraitors

this is the dumbest lie anyone has told on the show. I am obsessed with Charlotte. #Traitors #TheTraitors

For years, former Black Panthers have feared that the FBI is still keeping tabs on them decades after its notorious COINTELPRO program. Malik Rahim had never been able to prove he was targeted. Now, government docs show he was correct.

When the Feds Are Still Watching

Former Black Panthers fear the FBI is still keeping tabs on them decades after COINTELPRO. In at least one case, they were right.

Same question, but for London #databs

Taylor Murphy@tayloramurphy.dad · 2y ago

Hey #databs - what data conferences are you planning to go to in 2025? Could be anything, vendor-specific or not.

Data engineers of #databs, anyone know of any good resources regarding testing automation specific to data (ideally in python)? I'm familiar with pytest and the gx module but would be good to hear about others! #datasky #dataengineering

The more I think about yesterday's announcement about Amazon S3 Tables, the more I think that it changes things a great deal. The gravity of data has shifted from the warehouse to cloud storage... but is there really a difference any more? 🧵1/n www.businesswire.com/news/home/20....

I came onto Bluesky an hour ago, and the first two things I saw were posts providing useful context for understanding the imposition of martial law in South Korea—the exact kind of thing that Twitter used to be so useful for in a developing crisis.

Lee Jae-myung, Leader of South Korea's Democratic Party, live-streamed himself scaling the walls of the National Assembly to bypass military barricades so that he could vote to overturn the President's martial law.

Has anyone been watching Later Daters? Anise and her daughter kill me every time😂

Was looking for something like this - yay! Data Engineers who work more on the infrastructure side of things, this is for you! #databs #datasky

I made an infra engineer starter pack. Folks posting about databases, stream processing, durable execution, orchestrators, service meshes, and more. go.bsky.app/SCZe42X

all of my schemas are evil. all my tables are nefarious. I write only in Spiteful Query Language. I hit that compute so erroneous the authorities want me dead. they will never catch me

you know whats awesome? my modern product! you know what sucks! your legacy product! (for abitrary definitions of modern / legacy)

Bluesky is truly having an incredible run as Threads' head of product

Sarah Perez@sarahp.bsky.social · 2y ago

Meta’s Threads is developing its own take on Bluesky’s ‘Starter Packs’ techcrunch.com/2024/...

You wanted starter packs to be searchable. Our engineers are busy keeping us online, so in the meantime, an independent developer built a new searchable library of starter packs. This is the beauty of building in the open 🦋

Can't speak for the US market but in the UK, for data engineering, 2-3 years ago for junior data engineers. When I see the "junior data engineer" job postings of today, I just roll my eyes

In your opinion, when was the best time to get into the tech/dev/cybersecurity field?
