Icon sets have such a lack of consistency that I have to resort to bespoke per icon customisation to fix bullshit alignment issues. In this case, this icon from Phosphor is "aligned" with the text but not *aligned* with it due to the whitespace. This is so fucking stupid. #css #programming #design

Wikipedia/MediaWiki lets editors override arbitrary site styles with CSS expressed as wiki pages instead of doing it properly through the built in skin mechanism. This is absolutely horrifying honestly and I'm struggling to express my disgust for this. Insane technical debt. #wikipedia #programming

Never buy a HP laptop. For some dumb reason my job gives us HP laptops. I can put it into hibernate at 100% battery and unplug it, and the next morning the battery is so empty it can't even boot up to the "please connect to power supply" message.
