While I'd like to say, "My, how far we've fallen," that's just not the reality of the story of the U.S. in 1776, those 'educated' men were still slave owners who called the Indigenous of this land savages and didn't include women as citizens, denying them the right to vote nationwide until 1920.
So now you're shaming people who may be elderly, not in the best health or caring for a family member. That's a great way to win friends and influence people. 🤔 Maybe their only contribution is voting for Democrats in all elections. Can't that be enough for some people?

How does he not understand that people are spending more because everything costs more? They're probably buying the same or less for more money and many are struggling to survive.
