21yo doggo, cuddly boy. Likes guys a lot. Maybe a little too much. I take photos of furry events often. Account is SFW but not minor friendly

Recently repaired an expensive coffee machine for a relative. So many cheap parts inside, feels sketchy even if it's all fixed to perfect condition and works how it's supposed to. Didn't feel great giving it back as "fixed"

Brought my old camera to a con to test if it works. Too bad the battery only lasts for eight minutes. Otherwise I would have recorded more than the last day. Now I am waiting for a new battery and a FireWire card to get the video itself.

This seems to sum up my mainly used cameras pretty well. I don't think it's going to change much in the next bunch of years. Mirrorless is still extra expensive to switch to. Even though SLT is already kind of mirrorless.

Sony A 18-200 aps-c lens, Sony Alpha a58 with Minolta 50mm AF lens, Minolta Alpha 7xi with the AF 28-105 xi lens, Exakta Varex IIa (1956?) with the Zeiss Biotar 58/2 lens

I haven't shared anything I took on Harman Phoenix II yet. Everything dark is green for some reason. Feels more expired than my photos taken on expired Fuji Superia

I seem to have a few small holes in my shutter curtain. The biggest spot shows up in photos sometimes. But it takes almost a minute with an uncovered lens for it to appear visibly.

Empty photo that wasn't taken yet

I'm not an artist. But I did plenty of silly things on wplace already. Some of it is just an image. Some of it is lightly edited art to fit my needs.

I knew this is fishy from the lack of a datasheet. Went through a bunch of info to find out what film this ACTUALLY is. Including buying one of them to inspect closely(sadly had to give profit to that guy). The company owner refuses to give any detail and keeps saying marketing stuff.

BildThere is a DX code for the camera. But not a DX number with a barcode, even on the physical roll I have.Example photo from the website, looks like Kodak AerocolorKinol's answer avoids saying anything useful on purpose, got blocked on their instagram too.

A wrist strap intended for an 8mm film Zenit camera. The camera is made of a solid block of cast iron. It's hard to even hold for longer. Imagine how painful it is when you drop it with this wrist strap on.

Younger Gen Z(under 19) has nostalgia for digicams. I myself grew up with film point&shoot cameras. But this camera is pretty nice. It can't do macro at all though. And you have to use NiMh batteries to get more than 20 minutes of use. Any AA batteries last barely one minute before dying.

Lovely. Buying an entire vintage camera with a lens in bad condition just to extract the takeup spool that my model misses is more affordable than buying a takeup spool.

I bought old film from Germany. The seller originally replied in english, even if I wrote in German(no it wasn't auto-translation). Today I wrote them a message about the package not being delivered even after SEVEN weeks. They got so angry at Deutsche Post that they went back to writing in German.

Tested out my Exakta Varex IIa There are some photos that went well, and some that really show the problem with lacking an original takeup spool. It sometimes slips and doesn't advance the film enough Good ones first
