Model maker Marvellous Miniature Workshop starts 2pm December 1st BBC One and BBC iplayer - follow me on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@lnrmodels

Yet another cluttered ‘workshop’ pic of the Golf course diorama. Last night, a live stream viewer suggested the greens looked a little rough - and he was quite right, so I took to them with a piece of fine grit sandpaper and it really brought them to life.

Happy to share my involvement in the background set of this brand new product launch (note - smaller props were added dressing) Hundreds of individually applied leaves and petals…

It’s so cold in my workshop at the moment, so here’s a throwback to a lovely family home I delivered this time last year. It was such a wonderful home to make with such a lot of history. Although 2026 is now full, I’m still getting requests for 2027 diary slots…

Thanks to everyone who’s followed my model making journey this year - it’s been an amazing 12 months, creating my usual miniature recreations of treasured homes, some set building, a book cover for an international best selling author, and of course, Marvellous Miniature Workshop

The culmination of months of hard work from all involved… I’m so incredibly proud of this episode. I hope you loved it too. If you haven’t had a chance to catch today’s episode of The Marvellous Miniature Workshop, catch up on BBC iPlayer NOW! All episodes are now available to view.

Today’s episode of The Marvellous Miniature Workshop sees Reg and Neil visit the shop hoping for a miniature recreation of Silverwood Colliery in Rotherham. Today’s miniaturist … is me… Watch The Marvellous Miniature Workshop today at 2pm on BBC One

Some behind the scenes from today’s episode - kindly captured by Abi (from episode 2) when we were filming the interview segments of the episodes back in May. I was paranoid about getting sunburnt… It was so surreal seeing yourself on the monitors.

A little blast from the past here with this gorgeous cottage in the Cotswolds. Such a beautiful subject with lots of nice little details. If you’ve got a house you’d like recreating in miniature, drop me a line Examples of my previous work on my website lnrmodels.co.uk
