13 out of 32 multiNES Season Passes remain! I want to thank everyone for supporting this ~10 NES game making mission I have put myself on so far. Chomp Champ is so close to shipping I can taste it. <3 #nesdev

This screen was looking a bit "lifeless" so I added a friend! This is Chomp Champ's bouncing germ time. Music by Ominous Pigeon Master and has nothing to do with the game, ok? :D #nesdev

Chomp Champ for the NES (coming soon!) graphics skratch pad. I like to keep development history of game projects. Sometimes you have to bruteforce a design through a bunch of iterations. #nesdev

Now on the 4th revision of the custom NES controller. The diamond shape for the directional pad buttons is definitely a step in the right direction, but there's still room to improve the ergonomics. At this point it's almost as comfortable as a traditional controller. #retrograming

Help me decide which swirl design goes in the two color risograph 32 page zine I started a year ago. I brought contributors on 6 months ago and they finished their assignments in weeks. I've been frozen with perfectionistisms [WRITERZ BLOKK]. #design

Part II: Non-scrolling border illusion for Orange Island. Playing back at 25% speed, we can see the final border design (mostly) staying static on the left side of the screen. We're blitting between the 2 nametables. Definitely many issues left to mitigate. Large boss metasprite added for fun!

This non-scrolling border illusion trick for Orange Island is feeling half done. The NES can be quite unforgiving. In my head it seemed conceptually simply, but in execution it has been a maddening labyrinth of timing issues. Follow this thread for updates. #nesdev

The LoBlast 2025 convention tour schedule is half the dates of last year. This allows more time and energy to focus on R+D. Super excited for this mini-gauntlet of shows at the end of this month starting this weekend!
