I already have my fics locked and 80% still got scraped (even my translations). 😔 And I just lost my job of ten years this month so I guess my break's going to get extended for more than a while. No more updates until then

Just as a heads up for anyone who posts fanfic on AO3, there was a HUGE AI scrap that took place recently. The link to the Tumblr with the information and the search tool is attached, so please check your work. FUCK AI! AI IS THEFT! #ao3 #fanfiction #fuckai

Screenshot of a Tweet about the AI scrap on AO3 that reads "This is insane, apparently ao3 suffered a huge data extraction, tons of fics, to use it to train ai, to make it better at writing fics😭ao3 fought back and it seems the extraction “stopped” but there’s a tool that allows you to check of your fics were stolen and 3 of mine were😭" There are two screenshots attached to it of a Tumblr post and the results of the search tool.
