It’s warm again and I’m craving the beach. But not just any beach. Specifically a beach with beautiful cliffs, crystal clear ice-cold water, and vibrant green algae. I don’t live near one of those so I will draw it instead 🌊

Wrinkles and textured skin are beautiful, vibrant, and full of life. Folds and loose skin have beautiful shapes and volumes. If you view aged skin through the eyes of an artist, you gain a deep appreciation of its beauty 🖤
Listen, I’m still afraid of inks because they’re so permanent. But I’m trying to embrace them more and be a bit bolder with them. Baby steps!

I’ve been trying to figure out how I can translate my soft digital style into a risograph by separating all the color channels. I have not printed them yet, so I have no idea if they’ll work! I still need to pick the final colors! Which color combo do you like most?
I’m a character artist. I’m used to painting skin and hair and clothes... soft textures, basically. I found out the hard way that this approach does not work for rocks. Unless you want them to look like weirdly shiny flesh blobs instead 🤔

Fabric folds are so hard. At least for me. The more detail I add the more they start to look like frosting on a cake. Crispness does not come naturally to me. But I try!!
