Learning to do pixel art. Posting at least 1 drawing a day to practice and learn.

Day 8: Making some props for my V-Tuber. Been interesting trying to scale things for my little goober but it's been fun dressing him up lol.

Day 7: Still working on shading on a small scale, however I wanted to see if I prefer have the outline or not when working small scale. I also wanted to try shading something with "texture". It's tricky but fun. I think for small scale things I prefer not having an outline.

Day 6: Testing shading styles on small scale drawings. I think 1 and 4 are best used on small canvases while 2 and 3 might be better for larger things. I'd like to try making a "textured" surface as a future challenge, see how I would go about shading. I'm also trying to keep to a small palette.

Wanted to try making props and wanted to recreate some party hats from runescape. Plus a straw hat just cuz. Making props for a little goober I made last night. (but that's a secret until I'm ready to reveal)

Day 5: Wanted to make something small then recreate it larger (16 to 32). Form is something I'm struggling with so I think that's what I want to try and focus on for a while. I struggled to get the SHAPE I was going for. He turned out more chonky than I wanted but I love him all the same lol

Day 3: I made my own tamagotchi's! I'm still trying to learn shading and dithering and thought this would be a fun little exercise. plus who doesn't love little goobers :3

Day 2 of practicing pixel art. Dithering and shading are things I need to learn and experiment with. Each section I did a different style just to try them out. Saturation is something I go heavy on and need to work on color choice, but one thing at a time. I'm still learning.

Decided to do one more before I go to bed. I wanted to try something with a nature focus and decided to use my favorite anime for ref. I'm happy with what I got done for my first day of learning and practicing.
