Played through Warioland 4 out of morbid curiosity and it turned out to be way better than I expected. Short but sweet with almost no sour points (Pinball and the Teddy Bear boss can kiss my ass). Probably not gonna play the other games any time soon but this was a solid starting point. 9/10.

Finished Sonic Rush Adventure, and I'm torn. If this game wasn't overstuffed with DS touch screen gimmicks and material grinding, I'd put it over og Rush for its better level design alone. I get they wanted to make an adventure game, but the Rush style is clearly not the right basis for it. 6/10.

While not the most refined game, Wind Waker still holds a special place in my heart for its story, characters, and sense of adventure. As a kid, it's a game that was there for me when I needed it the most. Every revisit takes me back to simpler times, and I'll never forget the memories made from it.

Finished Mega Man and Bass as both characters, and christ it was a fucking marathon. I didn't hate the game, in fact its great in terms of presentation and stage design. But the endgame is tedious with some of the worst bosses in the franchise and exhausted me by the credits. 7/10, fuck Burner Man.

The plot of this game is basically Metal Gear Solid but if Otacon creamed in his pants every time Meryl was on screen and if Liquid Snake made the nuclear threat because he was extremely insecure. Also Grey Fox does steroids. #CoryintheHouse

It's been a while since I last played Sonic Adventure 2 and I installed some character mods to shake things up. I guarantee you can't tell who's replaced with one, maybe 2 exceptions.

Sash Lilac from Freedom Planet, Omelette Robotnik (Sonic fan character), Big the Cat from Sonic Adventure, Naked Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Hatsune Miku, and Junko Enoshima from Danganronpa.

Finished Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Holy shit, this was phenomenal. The jungle setting makes for a perfect contrast to the rest of the series with enhanced gameplay and smoother pacing. CQC is a wonderful addition to a tried and true formula and offers choices via player expression. 10/10.

Finished Metal Gear Solid 2 for the first time and it was better than I imagined. Gameplay is heightened from the first game with new features and obstacles backed by a story that throws you for a loop from beginning to end. Going in, I feared the Emma section but I cleared it with no issues. 9/10

Finished Metal Gear Solid, and despite playing this 2 times before, it's probably the closest thing to a masterpiece. Level design's more streamlined with a greater focus on narrative backed by great set pieces. My only issues stemmed from Disc 2 exclusively with bad pacing and last 2 bosses. 9/10.

Finished Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and this... THIS is damn good. Not perfect, I think the backtracking is overplayed and the card keys still suck, but Kojima went above and beyond with the narrative that kept me hooked throughout. A major improvement over the original in every aspect. 8/10.

Finished Metal Gear for the MSX and it was about what I expected. I admire how future games improved the formula that started here, but christ this game is dated as hell. Confusing layouts, bullshit insta-kill moments, and that bitch Jennifer being picky as hell on when you can call her. 4/10.
