I think WEAPONS will be a hit in Japan and possibly Korea, because they’re already primed for this kind of intimate apocalyptic horror of the irrational. The societal anxiety of insane, malicious evil exploding the stability of the community is a common theme in Japanese and Korean pop fiction.
