So, I realize I haven't recapped what's been happening with the Barbie save, and boy, some stuff has happened! As I mentioned, Barbie and Charlie moved out of the Gen 1 house, but why did Charlie go with her older sister? Charlie's pregnant.

I tried my hand at making a Bratz-inspired house! The exterior is modeled after the Bratz World Mansion. Added a gated entrance and a backyard with a pool. I challenged myself with the lot size and it was a bit tight, but I think adding the clear fence at the pool makes it feel bigger!

The Barbie save is moving onto Gen 2! Barbie and her sister Charlie have moved to San Myshuno, and we are officially leaving sleepy suburbia and the Gen 1 house behind. ❤️ Barbie gets the biggest bedroom (of course), and the girls have their first ever TV! They didn't have one in the old house.

So I haven’t been playing much sims lately but I loaded into the Legacy save and decided to do some fixes. When I transferred laptops my sims ages got messed up, so this whole gen is off. I just aged down the kids a bit and y’all… we only have 2 more full weeks of them being kids 🥺 I’m not ready 😭

Been slow on playing and posting but have been working through some of the Barbie Legacy. Mainly just waiting until teen Barbie and Karlie age up.

Ya'll. I hadn't gotten back into lighting mods since getting my new computer but finally started adding some of the basics in and the difference in that even without reshade is crazy 🥹 forgot how much I missed these Before and after! Will I ever be brave enough to use reshade? Only time will tell...

Sabrina's trying to prepare for an uncomfortable conversation. Marquise doesn't know the history between Lanuola and Beau. He doesn't know Sabrina's reservations about him moving her into his apartment. Still, Sabrina is willing to talk things out and hopefully make things good for everyone.

Sabrina wants the best for their child first and foremost. Lanuola is still an unknown factor. Perhaps she means well, or perhaps there's a secret motive.

Sabrina's not lying because they don't want Juno and Marquise to hang-- Sabrina has always struggled with facing conflict, and finding out your ex-fling is now dating your boyfriend's ex (the one who tried to once ruin their relationship) and moved her in creates a lot of conflict.

Marquise does miss Juno. Three weekends without a visit will do that. That being said, he believes Sabrina when they come up with reasons Juno can't come over. He's sad, but having Lanuola has helped. Still, what will happen if he ever finds out Sabrina's been lying this whole time?

The family retires back to the rental house early since they have to get back home in the early morning. The kids talk about all the fun they had, while Sigrid and Robin bond over how good of a team they were on this trip. In the evening, Sigrid and Sabrina talk about what happens next.

Day 2, the family attended the Festival of Youth and then went on a hike. Alma pretended to be too cool for a lot of this stuff, but she actually had a lot of fun 🤭

The trip has been lots of fun! They went sledding, went to the Festival of Snow, and tried out the onsen all on day 1.

As a result of two weeks lying to both father and son (😬), Sabrina suggests an impromptu weekend trip to Mt. Komorebi to get out of the house and blow off some steam. So the family packs up and makes their way there!

Testing out a recap format for the larger legacy posts on Tumblr (please let me know your thoughts!) Starting with the backdrop: Sabrina's been lying to Marquise in order to stall Juno going over his house since they haven't chatted about Lanuola living there. It's left them very stressed.
