Last August I was brought on by W/M Animation to work on the new Lorne Micheals documentary “Lorne”. The animated segments were written by Robert Smigel and done in the same style as his TV Funhouse cartoon segments on SNL. Mine is the first one in the show at around the 7:50 minute mark.
Working my way thru the #TheArtofLowerDecks book while also on the lookout for anything from one of my scenes. On page 282, there's a BG from "The Inner Fight" of the exterior of Locarno's lair. My shot! I animated the tiny Freeman, Rutherford, Shax and Billups walking in! #lowerdecks #smallvictory
I got an email from Brendan Small, creator of #Metalocalypse. He needed an animator for a #Facebones PSA about "erectile dysfunction" for the upcoming 20th anniversary tour of his band #Dethklok. After a zoom call with Brendan, I got to work. The tour is happening now! Here's a clip of what I did!

The final 2 eps of "Smiling Friends" drop on 4/12 at 11pm on Adult Swim. Director David Hootselle made this amazing animated video of his time on the show. He is a super cool dude, funny as hell, and also a young, punk kid who made good! Check the 1st comment on the vid and meet the crew!

The first show I worked on was "Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law". I was hired when they switched to Flash for S2. Here's a shot I did from S2.E2 "Trio's Company". In 2003 we were all still pretty new to Flash. A lot of figuring things out as we went along. This was done in Flash MX (Flash 6).
My animation on Netflix alert! Digman! season 1 is now available on Netflix! Hopefully season 2 will follow at some point, and hopefully they’ll green light season 3!

I got on to the “Smiling Friends” crew this past September to help them finish up season 3, and I had hopes I’d be on it for a while. Well, it was just announced by the show’s creators that they’ve decided to end it now. Zach and Michael released this announcement explaining their decision.

I know Lower Decks fans are perturbed that the Cerritos is not featured in the Star Trek 60th anniversary intro. But the entire thing is an homage to the S-field sequence from the series finale where the Cerritos transforms while traveling thru the rift. So IMO, the Cerritos is all the ships!

Thanks to a buddy from my Turner days, I was brought on to the retakes animation team for the Adult Swim show “Smiling Friends” to help them put the finishing touches on S3. Ep01 of S3 premieres tonight at 11:30pm on Adult Swim, and a day later on HBO Max. It’s a funny, well-done show! Check it out!
