I am a notoriously easygoing filmgoer. I am one of those "well I can see what they were going for" kinds of people when it comes to the shlockiest shit you can find on Netflix. I watched Fantastic Four (2025) today, and it may be one of the most intellectually offensive films I've watched in years.

Now that I am finally out from under the crush of trying to get Primordium in the pipe as quickly as possible, after spinning my wheels for 6 weeks, I can finally return my attention to other projects. Decided to finish up Caldreth's outfit. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

FINALLY managed to get all of the Primordium blocking done, for the four episodes that compose its first Chapter. And FUCK me. 😩

It just now occurred to me that I never actually showed what all we got done on past Sunday's stream. We managed to get DMon built, and cleaned up her rigging. There were a few unforeseen complications, but overall, very happy with how she's coming along! Next Sunday, we facepose and outfit her!

With Primordium Episodes 1, 2, and 4 fully blocked out, I am now working on the most narratively challenging of the batch, which is Episode 3. Unlike the previous episodes, Ciri doesn't have anyone she can banter with in Episode 3. She can't even banter with the Eldritch abomination she summons! 👻

As I finalize getting Primordium down the pipe for the next Micro project, I have been putting together some character profiles for next year's OC projects. The goal is to share them with prospective voice talent, see if any characters appeal to them, and help them find said characters' voices.

It's honestly impressive how Discord just IMMEDIATELY fucking fumbles rolling out this age verification bullshit. "90% of users won't have to confirm anything," meanwhile at least 5 people on my Discord server (which only has maybe 30 regulars) immediately got flagged as minors or "Unconfirmed". \1

While putting together character profiles for casting next year's projects, I decided to overhaul the physique for Nal'Azoth, the Demon Queen in Demonseed. I like her old "wiry physique with demonic strength" design, but now she LOOKS like she can pound a fat-assed half-elf right into the ground 🤤

Algorithms are funny things. I viewed one (1) French media Bluesky thread several weeks ago, reading about the financial troubles dontnod are dealing with (praying that Michel's team survives, I need more Lost Records). Now, weeks later, French news on my timeline. Coincidence? I think probably!

So I jumped over to sex.com to fish up some potential references for a project, and got flashbanged by one of my old Patron animations as the second result on the front page for gifs. This isn't the first time it's happened but it will probably never not feel weird to get jumpscared by my own work.

And now ALL of the Sombra audio has been OFFICIALLY processed. Including the earlier batch which I never actually got around to processing. That concludes the work that Cinder and I had together for Overbreed Episode 1, but don't be surprised if you see Cinder's name show up in future projects! 🤭

Don't stay up till 6am writing. You may just end up coming up with a full three-act treatment for yet another Overwatch film, this time exploring the relationships between sex, stigma, and liberation. I do not plan to shift the long-standing schedule of Overbreed Episode 1 then Blue Star Episode 4.

This isn't the first time I've made a post like this, and it likely won't be the last, but Sometimes I'll just be minding my own business, just vibing and having a good time. And then suddenly I'll remember tumblr. And then I'll be sad for the rest of the day. I miss tumblr so fucking much man.

Pictured: Me, constantly shifting my thoughts, opinions, and focus between Primordium, Frozen, and a secret third option, all of which have fallen through and frustrated me at various points. I don't even know what the next project after Short Love Story is gonna be. It's been a whirlwind.

I just sent off the last batch of Sombra dubbing to the wonderful Cinder, which means that, once she returns the latest recording in the next week or so, ALL of the Sombra audio for Overbreed Episode 1 will finally be done! 😱 It's been a massive recording endeavor, taking almost exactly 5 months.\1

While I am still bothered by my Primordium ideas falling through, I can't deny that I have been having an extraordinary amount of fun actually being able to animate something wholly new again. Prototyping the potential Frozen idea has led to a handful of unique animations that were a blast to make!

One of the ideas I'm exploring for a new Q4 project involve Elsa writing bondage-themed self-insert smut. I figured that I could visually express someone learning of her curvy fantasy alter-ego via pencil sketches she made. So I experimented with Photoshop filters. Here's what I came up with.

So I'm not making an executive decision right now, because I am currently spiraling and I know better than to make decisions while spiraling. But I am strongly considering replacing Primordium as the Q4 project with something else. No matter what I do, I can't make it work. Not sure with what yet.

As has become tradition in recent months, I took this non-streaming Sunday to focus on writing. Today, I focused on writing out the Fallen Throne lore primer. With Fallen Throne slated to have its first formal release in late 2027, I want to get the primer ready for it. A few first-draft excerpts:

All of the films released to date have been added to the temporary Films page! The Wayback Machine had archived the titles, release dates, voices, and tags of everything released up till Peasantsday, so that sped things up. It didn't capture any film descriptions though. Adding them is next!

After finally getting the technical work for the Primordium finale done, I started drafting together the screenplay for it, for a sense of runtime. I knew it'd be a heavy episode, but... Current projection is 12 minutes. And that's conservative. Absolutely not tenable. So I thought on it. \1

Pushed an update to the Films page. Added all of the films that the Wayback Machine managed to archive, which goes up to and includes Peasantsday. It managed to save titles, release dates, tags, and credits, but not descriptions. So no descriptions yet. Next up is adding the remaining films.

Working through the first batch of adding entries to the temporary Films page, and it's wild to me how, over the entire year 2021, I only put out 18 minutes of video, spread across 3 videos. By comparison, this year, I've put out 16 minutes of video (in Love and Degeneracy) across just 2 months. 💀
