I've not been able to look at screens for more than 10 mins at a time for a while and 2 things are now obvious: 1. Screen addiction is by far the strongest addiction I've ever had, and everyone around me has it too 2. It's now harder to live offline than it is to live online

I went Out today after a long while not being able to because of various health things going on. It's amazing how a trip to London is a big deal now when I lived there for a decade. And fuck me it reminded me why I left. Sensory overload from the minute I stepped off the train. #london #autism

Photo of kit with her friend hamad and her sister Sarah in a fancy bar in London. It's a very millennial photo with hamad holding the phone in a classic group selfie position

Sometimes taking photos of flowers feels a bit pointless because you can't capture all the good bits in an image The smell of the peonies, the way light bounces off sorrel on a windy-sunny day, the surprise of creeping buttercup taking over the garden. That sort of thing. #bloomscrolling

A photo of tens of tiny pink sorrel flowers in dappled sunlight A photo of a big fluffy white and pink peony bloom. It looks like a marshmallow but you can't eat it A photo of yellow creeping buttercup flowers popping up out of lush green ground foliage. It's considered a weed but it's actually helping keep other nastier weeds at bay
