I am in no way eager to do business with Stripe when they monopolize online payments and use that power to openly discriminate against sex workers and LGBTQ+ people. I don't represent exclusively myself in this however so I have to weigh options accordingly. If only LA could be a physical store smh

I think I should make it really clear also that everything going on with the trade war and anti-LGBTQ+ payment processor policies slowly taking effect is really fucking unacceptable and I am openly exploring alternate measures that make sense for myself doing taxes and paying artists.

Just as well, our shipping service has updated terms for shipping to the USA now that de minimis has been killed for incredibly stupid reasons, so hopefully the absolute most interruptions you will see on the customer end is $1-$2 extra in shipping charges. CAD, im pretty sure.

As the good ol' times keep on coming, I'll be working on updating a bunch of stuff for LA, specifically (eugh) navigating the payment processor for the purposes of bandcamp purchases and payments to artists. Hugely sucks and could cause some temporary delays so apologies if that happens this week

Things have been slower on the new stuff and updates end with LA, I've mostly been just working on health + hormones stuff for the last several months but its more or less resolving now so I can get back on track to the things I love doing for you all. Thank you for these past ten years <3

As Spotify's owner continues his horrific endeavors into AI warfare funding, its crucial we continue to support artists choosing to drop off that despicable platform. Also super important that if some artists are really relying on that income to support them that much more to relieve the pressure

just an update from some testing, small things like tapes seem to be fine, PostNL appears to be able to swing those like normal, but anything record sized will be either really expensive or I'm already seeing, not an option at all depending on *where* in AU you are. this sucks so much

I love love love all my Australian supporters, seriously its wild how many aussies love supporting DIY labels I do however have to hold off on further shipments there right now because due to the ongoing trade war with the US, shipping has increased by aboooout 4x the price.

Just a quick update on what to expect currently, and its good news! As of right now the tariffs dont appear to impact merch from Canada, but we'll stay tuned as always if that changes. General postage has gone up slightly, but only by about 80 cents to a dollar, so its not the worst.

Extremely cool, seems Canadian shipments for merch and small stuff won't be impacted by the tariffs. Shouts out the shipping company I use, theyve been super proactive on updates.

Actually there might be some tariff issues anyways, it seems the US border implemented 10-30% tariffs on any goods coming from Canada that are Chinese produced in origin? Kind of confused where that sets us because the tapes come from here, but plastic sure doesn't.

Unsure honestly what to expect when the tariff increase begins, I hold little hope it will actually remain at the full 25% increase, I think negotiations will bring it down, however I highly doubt it will eliminate it completely. I'll remain transparent as always as I see what changes in February.
