Rustling Trees and Birdsong My first painting of the day, absolutely perfect there for this one, it got a bit more peopley later in the day but I can’t complain.
My studio for the day, it was a very breezy day so I lucked out when I realised that not only were there fantastic views of the bluebells from this spot but the teepee was a great wind break!
Really pleased to have my painting of Barafundle Bay accepted into into the Crickhowell Open Art Exhibition at Oriel Cric Gallery The exhibition runs alongside the Crickhowell Open Studios & Galleries which I’m now working towards.

Caerfai Bay Morning Light 8”x6” oil on board I love this view above Caerfai Bay near St David’s.
Nolton Haven with Rain Showers 8”x 6” oil on board Nolton Haven was my first stop last week on my little painting trip, the weather was a tad windy with showers but it was so nice to be painting at the coast listening to the oyster catchers.

My first daffodil painting of the season, painted yesterday and will be exhibited at the Spring Awakening exhibition at the Albany Gallery along with other new Spring paintings next month. 8” x 6” oil on board
A couple of weeks ago I visited @workersgallery near Porth, I also took the opportunity to paint at Trehafod, it was very murky with heavy rain so I had to find a close-up view. So these winding gears were perfect, I treated it as a quick sketch and not get to engulfed in the detail.
The Eight Arch Bridge, Bosherston Pembrokeshire. 8” x 6” oil on board This one is from a lovely walk last summer, Stackpole to Bosherston via Barafundle and Broadhaven. It’s definitely one of my favourite walks. You can only see seven of the eight arches from this angle.
