Stranded Assets. Every time you hear about extending the life of gas and coal, or approving new projects like the Browse Scott Reef gas and carbon dumping CCS project think stranded assets. And you know who picks up the bill for stranded assets? The taxpayers.

The age of fossil fuels is ending – what will the exit look like for Australia? Gas executives are "not looking at the technological changes that are reshaping their own industry," says @assaadrazzouk.bsky.social. "You're going to end up with lots of stranded assets." #auspol 🎧 theaus.in/3RYU52g

A weather model suggests temperatures of almost 50 degrees are possible in France. Anyone who claims there is no climate change, who disparages science in this field, or who denies that human activity is the cause, is making a statement that has nothing to do with reality #ClimateEmergency #FarRight
