I think Mr Michael O’Leary woke up this morning & chose violence. Or He thought I’ve had enough of hearing about T rump on the news, and said - Hold My Beer, I’ll be in the news all day! Such an eejit!
She was the brightest of lights, the best of us! RiP Dolly Parton 🕊️ ❤️🩹 - Ladysmith Black Mombazo & Dolly Parton - Knocking On Heavens Door
Rosie O’Donnell was blisteringly good on Kimmel last night! I’ve just had an idea… If RTE are looking for a replacement for The Late Late Show. May I be the first to suggest Rosie gets it ?!? #Speirgorm @rte.ie
Proud to say, my uncle was one of the Priests who was a celebrant at Brenda Fricker’s funeral this morning! Meath street is his home patch, he’s the sort of fella that knows everyone. If you remember when the Queen visited Ire & wouldn’t drink the pint of Guinness poured for her - he drank it!
Anyone know of, or has stayed at, a nice pet friendly place in Kilkenny? For me and my pooch this weekend… Long shot I know! Hotel B+B #Speirgorm
I tell ya, the only fella who’ll be working tomorrow in Mayo, will be Enoch Burke! #GAA #Speirgorm
There won’t be a cow milked in mayo for weeks! #GAA #Speirgorm
If your parents are still alive, here’s your reminder to ring/talk to them as often as possible! Sadly, my dad passed in ‘22 - I wish I could chat to him again. . . The wonderful William Fichtner gives his perspective!

The Last Duel Is on RTE 2 right now. Mostly filmed in Ireland, during Covid - Remember when Matt Damon was in Ireland bc of lockdown during Covid, thats the movie he was filming! Plus, it also gives a glue to how good he is in - The Odyssey #Speirgorm
Great to see so many young girls on the pitch, in Thurles! #GAA #Speirgorm
This is just beautiful. A murmuration put to classical music. Enjoy!
Oh well… #GAA Hopefully, under King Henry’s helm, Kilkenny will be back to championship hurling next year! #Speirgorm
*Thats it. All over bar the shouting! #GAA #Speirgorm *I am trying some reverse psychology here, saying the worst, hoping for the best…

Why does RTE still platform Donal Og as a presenter? The man that wrote a letter, giving a paedophile a character reference! #GAA #Speirgorm
My plan for today: • Watch The Open #Golf Then • Watch The All Ireland Hurling Final - H’up Galway‼️ #GAA Then • Back to The Open Then • If I can be bothered, watch The World Cup Final As you were. #Speirgorm
How does Tommy Fleetwood, manage to look young and old, at the same time?! #TheOpen
Henry Shefflin is the new Kilkenny Hurling Senior Manager! Heavy is the crown he now wears! Hopefully, his tenure under Cody will liven up this team. I wish him every success! #GAA #Speirgorm
Padraig Harrington rolling back the years for yet another win on the Senior tour. He just won the Senior US Open Championship. He’s is a truly wonderful ambassador for Ireland and Golf. #Golf #Speirgorm
Clare deserved better from that performance. #GAA #Speirgorm
Great first half from Clare! Hopefully, they can keep that pace & passion up for the full 70mins.. #GAA #Speirgorm
